Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 10, 2026

At FatherTest, we believe your privacy matters — especially when it comes to something as personal as parenting. This policy explains how we handle your information when you visit fathertest.com and use our parenting assessment. The short version: we collect almost nothing, and your assessment answers never leave your device.

What We Collect (and What We Don't)

Your assessment responses are never collected, stored, or transmitted. All calculations happen entirely in your browser. We have no way to see your answers or results — they belong to you and you alone.

We do not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, or any other personal information to use our service.

The only data we collect is anonymous, aggregated usage analytics through Vercel Web Analytics. This helps us understand general patterns like which pages are most visited and how people navigate the site. Vercel Web Analytics is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies, does not track individual users, does not collect personal information, and does not share data with third parties. You can learn more about how Vercel handles analytics data in their privacy policy.

Cookies and Tracking

We do not use cookies. We do not use pixels, fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology to identify you. You can use FatherTest without being tracked in any way.

The only data stored temporarily on your device is your assessment progress while you're actively taking the test. This is kept in your browser's session memory and is automatically cleared when you close the tab or browser.

Affiliate Links

Our site contains affiliate links to third-party services, including EasyDNA. When you click on an affiliate link, you leave FatherTest and are subject to the privacy policy of that third-party website. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases, but this never affects the content of our assessment or results. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit through our links.

Data Security

Because we don't collect your personal data or assessment responses, there is no personal information at risk of being breached, leaked, or misused. Your answers exist only in your browser for the duration of the assessment and are never transmitted to our servers.

Children's Privacy

FatherTest is designed for adult parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). Since we don't collect personal data from any user, this concern is inherently addressed by our privacy-first design.

International Users

FatherTest is available to users worldwide. Because we do not collect personal data, the requirements of data protection regulations like the GDPR (EU), UK GDPR, and CCPA (California) are substantially simplified. There is no personal data to transfer, process, or delete — so there is nothing to request access to or erasure of. If you have questions about how this applies to your region, feel free to contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
